I’m very upset that Congress is taking a month off without addressing the healthcare issue. Are they willing to do without healthcare coverage? Probably not, then why is it okay for us to do without coverage?
If something major happens to my husband such as an accident or the need for an operation, we’ll be heading toward the emergency room. We have no other choice. Our savings will be depleted covering his emergency. If we run out of money, the American people will be paying for his care.
I will not vote for anyone who does not help get affordable healthcare for all of us.
